Reverse 180 spin This is not so much as a racing tip but just a cool trick which you may have seen used in films such as James Bond ect.
Firstly make sure you have quite a bit of space, 4 m squared is about right.Start off with you Mini Z facing the wall and reverse quickly.When the car is going fast turn the wheel left or right (right works better for me) and accellerate at the same time. You r car should make a clean 180 turn and continue forwards.It may not work first time but practice till it does.
Auto Breaking This alows you to set up an auto break that stops your Mini-z as soon as you have let go of the acceleration.This is idealy suited to tracks that require quick slowing down for corners.
First set up the trottle trim so it is at neutral.When you have done this plac your car on the ground and slightly turn the trottle trim to the reverse side. Do this until your car is not reversing but just humming. Try and turn it as far as possible. If the car starts to reverse you have gone too far.Now when you drive, the car should slow down quicker when you release the trigger. |
